Church Street is closed to traffic on weekends. This had slipped my mind, and as I stepped out of the MG Road metro station, I was surprised to see the activity and “life” on the street.
The 120 metres between the Metro gate and Brigade Road was all that I covered. It was good to see people thronging the street without the fear of traffic (or Covid). Quite sure that no one is losing business because of the pedestrianisation of Church Street.
